Several levels of upgrades available to suit many budget types.
From over 35 years professional experience and many versions of testing, experiments and results, the following upgrades are avalable plus more.
Some can be done as exchange. Go to EXCHANGE PAGE to find details of the process.

The options below can be built as new(GMT), or Exchange genuine, to reduce downtime, or the customers own turbo can be built.
The exchange option is only genuine for genuine.
No China or non genuine or modified turbo will be excepted for exchange.
ALL TURBO'S ARE REBUILT AND FULLY CHRA AND VSR BALANCED AND FITTED WITH BRAND NEW SEALS AND BEARINGS AND CHECKED TO PERFORM RELIABLY.

What is a GMT?:

New Aftermarket "GMT" Brand is an 'in house' designed and built brand of superior quality aftermarket performance Turbochargers and parts that can be purchased outright,
no need for exchange.
It is a Direct bolt on OEM replacement with no extra parts or modifications needed to fit. The spec and performance is very similar in performance and reliability to the OEM Genuine High Flows except NOT a 20+ year old reconditioned turbo.

This option is highly efficient and designed purely for better than stock ct26 response and reliablity. It will flow more than stock and produce more torque at all revs but not designed as a high power, "big power/boost" turbo, so boost is recommended for stock psi to18psi max. Yet it will outflow,out spool and be more reliable and efficient than the stock ct26 turbo. Good for those looking for a good value, significant step up from stock in many ways, yet retain a simple system and improve reliability.
Comes with a special design larger and efficient, Billet Compressor wheel machined
to the tightest tolerances.
       Rebuilt and balanced using highest quality seals and bearings,
CHRA and VSR balanced
Lapped Wastegate seat for a tight seal which helps early spool.
       Ported Turbine housing to speed gas entry to assist spool
Adjustable high quality wastegate actuator

This optioin is an efficient design, allowing for huge boost pressures and flow. The compressor wheel is a Special Billet in house design, which is very efficient and the strength to handle huge boost pressures and abuse. Fitted with a special 360° thrust kit designed in house, high pressure adjustable actuator, and ported turbine housing for rapid gas flow to keep great boost reponse. Also a special front seal area design for improved oil sealing incase of a poor oil drainage system, or an external cause for leakage. The design of this turbo makes it capable of 16-28psi if the motor set up and tune is up to it.

The turbo on this engine is call different names and that name depends on the manufactured or the retailer.
Also called at CT26B, CT20B or a CT15B. It is very diffrent internals to the earlier 'cruiser CT26A Turbo.

Rebuilt as above and upgraded. The basic high flow is for lower power upgrades and allows higher boost up to 22psi without the common destroying compressor wheel or reducing reliability as with the stock ct12b. It is fitted with a larger billet compressor for greater efficiency and increased flow, ported Turbine housing, adjustable higher pressure wategate Actuator. And result is has better than stock response with increased torque and reliabily.
Good for those looking for a good value upgrade for reasonable light use yet increased efficiency and flow with improved reliabilty. Max boost - 22psi

This option is a heavy duty version, that is good for some abuse yet keeps good responce and efficiency at high boost levels, reliably.
*Options are for 18g quicker spool Billet compressor wheel for up to 28psi max.  High Levels are available (contact me)
Demanding high boost and flow above 20 psi strains the weak stock ct12b compressor shaft and small thrust and small poor Turbine wheel, causing it to fail under high stress. Especially when the turbo receives punishing loads and long duation high boost, heat and flow.
This option eliminates that with fitting a special heavy duty CT26A chra and also using a special in house designed and Selected Billet Compressor wheel and larger high flow turbine wheel to suit the customers application, that allows for huge boost loads up to 28psi and 280hp)

It Comes with special in house design, High flow GMT Billet Compressor wheel, machined to the tightest tolerances.
A special designed Inconel Turbine wheel that is larger on inducer and exducer (68 x 52)
The in house engineered and design system, increases flow, reliability and good boost responce.        
Rebuilt in house using highest quality seals and bearings available with chra core balancing and vsr balancing.
Heavy Duty in house designed 360 degree special GMT thrust kit
Specil designed front oil seal and internal oil drainage system to cope with older engines with higher blowby, to improve turbo oil sealing.
        Ported Turbine housing to speed gas entry which helps assist spool,

3 INCH BOLT ON INTAKE

A simple cheap and easy upgrade that is very effective is the 3 inch cast alloy high flow bolt on intake bend
that replaces the restrictive factory part and is a direct fitment as OEM.
This can be used with the stock original rubber air box hose and air box as it positions in the factory position. Or can be used with an aftermarket 3 inch intake with a flexible hose for verticle engine movement.
THIS INTAKE IS A MUST FOR HIGHER BOOST AND FLOW SETUPS with the 1HDFTE bolt style compressor housing.
This part reduces risk of turbo failure, heat in charged air supply, and aids in quicker boost response.

Warranty Does not cover external causes of damage such as oil/air quality flow, foriegn material entering any port, shock, flooding or tampering in any way, ect. Exeeding design parameters and workshop settings of the product will void warranty. Poor tune or unqualified person handling the product voids warranty. Will not warranty any loss of profit or equipment. No money back refund after the vehicle is driven with the product.
